Having two months between races can always be tough! Finding things to keep you busy and in the racing mood can be difficult but fun at the same time! This past week I got back in to the racing mode by helping out at two different tracks. I went to Thompson Speedway on July 29th to help out a friend in the sk modified division. They were having 3 features that night. 2 20 lap features with a 10 lap feature at the end! He needed my help on pit road and I was happy to give it o him! Unfortunately he crashed out in the first segment. The car pitted next to us needed help and since my car was out of the race I lended a hand. A rookie driver I was able to work with them on there line, and getting more comfortable with the track! The words after the third and final segment were "I finally feel comfortable driving the car, and see how my actions have been affecting the car." All in all it was a successful day.

Then the following Saturday I went to Monadnock speedway to help out another friend in the sportsmen mods. We ended up making a lot of adjustments to the car. The car got better through the day we just did not have enough time, to get the good finish. I learned a lot about how each adjustment affects the car though which will help me with my car!

Finally this Saturday I will be back in action with the Pro 4 modified! After 2 months off we return to Waterford Speedbowl for the make up of the last race that was rained out! I hope to find my self on the podium for the first time this season in this car!
